About Me
Warrington Etienne is an American actor and singer. He began dancing at a performing arts studio (Stars Of Tomorrow) back in 2001. He then signed to an independent record label (Flick-A-Switch Productions) in 2008. He was the lead vocalist in The Union, a Hip hop/Pop Group in 2008, and studied acting starting in 2006 at the Florida Repertory Theater while also studying at Florida SouthWestern State College. He began modeling in 2007 doing runway/print work through a local independent modeling agency: TRIG Modeling Agency Productions, LLC. Today, he participates occasionally with some IG designers non-exclusively. He has been in the entertainment industry most of his life.
“No matter how dysfunctional my life was as a kid/teen, I was always able to escape through simple literature, whether it was LeVar Burton from PBS, watching Wishbone episodes, or reading novels from Scholastic book fairs once I was able to purchase if I had enough reward points. Today, I still escape to great literature & mostly ancillary books from authors like Rita Carter, Eric Morrison, Napoléon Hill, and even the Bible, which keeps me grounded. Now, with music! Don't get me started when we discuss matters of music. I think that's my first love. What can I say? I'm an 80's/90 kid!" says Etienne.
"I'll quote Vanilla Ice, 'The 90s was the greatest decade ever before computers ruined the world.' Pop culture had a fashion that mimicked music and it kind of spread like wildfire. I grew up not only listening to The Jacksons and MJ opening doors and breaking records but to all different types of artists who left a sentimental impression in my heart that totally made me learn how to sing and write music. From your mainstream like R.E.M, NSYNC, Boyz II Men, Madonna, Celine Dion, Spice Girls, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, I liked others like New Radicals, Third Eye Blind, Lifehouse, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Queen Latifah, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Savage Garden, Sade, N.W.A., Natalie Imbruglia, LL Cool J, Weezer, Moby, Smash Mouth, DIDO, Sheryl Crow, and Will Smith, to name a few. When it comes to scores and composers, I have to state first and foremost Thomas Newman, Mark Snow, Tony Anderson, Hans Florian Zimmer, Tim Burton, and John Williams."
In 2015, Etienne furthered his studies under the coaching of Kathy Laughlin, CSA, at the Performers Studio Workshop School in Hillsborough, Fla. He became a member of SAG-AFTRA on May 3, 2017. Today, he studies and continues to train his body while learning new methods for his craft.
